Well. Here we are. Ten weeks later (and a lot of skipped over blog posts, I know. I promise to go back and fill in the blanks of my NY adventure in the next few days) and we're about to close At the Table. What an amazing gift it has been to work on this wonderful piece of art with so many talented, hard-working individuals.

Today, we close this show that has been the product of an unimaginable amount of work done by a very special group of people. I didn't have enough room in a facebook post and I wasn't exactly sure what to say to thank all of you, so I'll give this blog post my best shot.

First, to Elizabeth for not only putting up with me, all of my questions, misteps, and dumb jokes, but for teaching me so much about a job I hope to have one day. Thank you so much for all the time you took to make me a part of this process. Your guidance and your friendship means so much to me. Go Habs, go!

Next, to this crazy-wonderful cast, who never fails to keep me on my toes. It's been so wonderful getting to watch all of you move these characters from the page to the stage (hehe that rhymes). I have loved every moment of watching you work.

Ben & Stacey - I have so loved having two other FLT "newcomers" to share this experience with. Thank you for your kindness, your energy, and for watching Act I with me from a lot of crazy angles backstage.

Claire & Rachel - So many thanks to you for looking out for me and offering so much helpful advice to living in the city. It really made my time in NY so much easier. Also, thank you (and Stacey) for letting me in on the dressing room chatter. I've so enjoyed our daily talks. It's been wonderful to have three amazing women to look up to in this experience.

Jude - My Act II buddy. You have such a beautiful soul and talent to you and I'm so grateful for your friendship. Thanks for watching Act II with me and for always brightening my day when I needed it.

Jimmy - It's been truly awkward to dump water on your head each night. Thank you for being such a good sport and I'm sorry for how cold it was! Also thank you for making pre-show warmups so much fun to watch and be a part of.

Aaron & Craig - Where do I start? Thank you both for this amazing company, for bringing me here, and for making me feel so welcome. Fault Line is such a special place and I'm honored to have been a part of this incredible show. I don't know how to explain how much I've learned from both of you. Watching you work has been a truly awesome experience. I am going to miss your backstage antics, and I promise to watch Star Wars in its entirety.

One of the many rehearsal photos from our 520 days - it feels like so long ago!

At the Table would not be what it is without the incredible team of designers who have quite literally brought this story to life! Tristan, Chad, John, Becky, and Izzy, thank you so much for letting me play some small part in bringing your amazing work into fruition. I have learned so much from each of you and it's been an amazing honor to work with (and party) with you! I so appreciate you welcoming me into your artistic family here at Fault Line. You guys are rockstars.

Photo Day with our awesome design team

Of course, not a second of this would have been possible without the impossibly talented Mikey Perlman. Mikey I am so honored to have been a part of this incredible work you have created. I will never forget this experience and that is almost completely because of you. I have so loved watching you work. Your genius is inspiring, your passion is infectious, and your generosity is unmatched. Thank you for giving all of us this incredible project to work on and for letting me be part of it.

Sean & Jenn - Thank you for letting me crash the party that was everyday of build and load in! All the late nights and long days were amazing learning experiences for me and I'm so happy to have shared in that experience with you. I've had so much fun getting to work with and know both of you.

At the Table and Fault Line Theatre would not function as well as it does without the kickass communications team that I have had so much fun working with.

Clevy - Thank you for being you! Thank you for never treating me like the intern and always making all of us laugh. I have so loved working with you and hanging out with you. You have made me feel so welcome here and I'm going to miss you so much!

Chopper - You're the worst, my interning skills are greater than yours, and the Leafs suck. Well okay, I guess only that last part was true. Thank you for being my drinking buddy and for staying up until 2:00 AM chalk-lining the ceiling with me. Someday we will watch Star Wars AND the Godfather Part II together and I won't be as big of a baby as I am now and there will be another Fault Line intern we can both pick on.

Suritz - Thank you thank you thank you for being the greatest neighbor I could have possibly had! There are a lot of things I wouldn't have been able to do while I was here if it weren't for you...like eat, drink nice wine, and do my laundry - no big deal. Thanks for always taking the train home with me and for pretending to listen to me. I guess you're kind of okay in my book (maybe).

Fault Line Communications...Courtesty of Fault Line communications

At the Table has been an unbelievable adventure from start to finish. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to share this experience with and I'm so proud to have my name listed next to theirs. This blog post is not enough to express my gratitude, but it's what I've got for now. Thanks, team...we did it!

Quote of the day:

"We are at our very best, and we are happiest, when we are fully engaged in work we enjoy on the journey toward the goal we've established for ourselves. It gives meaning to our time off and comfort to our sleep. It makes everything else in life so wonderful, so worthwhile."
